LCI has been satisfying homeowners and businesses in Houston, and the surrounding areas since 1994. They have developed numerous lasting relationships with area suppliers as well as with repeat customers. In addition to their full time skilled craftsmen, LCI has been using the same fully qualified, and insured partners since its inception. Each and every member of LCI shares in their work ethic, and integrity guaranteeing you “exceptional quality” and outstanding results.

Billy Lucas – Craftsman

Billy brings over 30 years of experience to LCI. Born and raised in the Northeast. He has been hands on to every facet of the building trade from a very early age. He was mentored by his father and various quality builders in Northern NJ. He learned about the industry, but more importantly about work ethics, reliability, “exceptional quality,” creativity and individual services. Relocating to Texas in 1991, Billy founded LCI and since its establishment, LCI continues to receive all their work through personal referrals.

Dan Lucas – Managing Partner

Dan Lucas joined LCI in 1998. Along with a degree in business, seasoned in client management, ingenuity, and insight. He added a new dimension to the team. Dan, a managing partner, governs the business entity of the company as well as daily operations. Mentored by his brother Billy, Dan is also a craftsman in the trade.

Steven Lucas – Project Manager

Steven Lucas, has a degree in communications, and is the administrative-field liaison. He manages the fine details of each project assuring daily operations run smoothly. Steven has a special appreciation for the uniqueness of each client’s relationship to their project. No two relationships are alike, and that’s the way he likes it.

Joey Hernandez – Design

Joey is a Heights neighbor and has been with the Lucas family since 2014. He started as a Project Manager and has since moved over to designing LCI’s additions, kitchens, and bathrooms. Joey’s favorite thing about being in the building industry is seeing the projects come together, and being a part of the transformation.


Will Gutierrez – Project Manager

Will has been working in the construction industry since he was 20 years old. Originally from the Maryland/DC Metropolitan area, He was a manager of a demolition company. Will had the privilege to work at some fascinating locations such as the CIA Headquarters and Quantico FBI Field. He relocated to Houston in 2019. After tearing buildings down for 5 years he missed his passion of building and remodeling, of transforming a kitchen or bathroom. Will is thrilled to work with LCI and says that “ he finally found a place where it feels like a family”.

Carlos Membreno

Carlos Membreno – Project Manager

Carlos, originally a native of Toronto Canada, has a degree in Business Administration and is currently working on his MBA. He also has a background in outdoor living, Project Management. He chose to work with LCI because as he states, “I love the professional environment and pride in their work, we all support each other and work together finding solutions to any given challenge”.

Teressa Hartley

Teressa Hartley – Selections Coordinator

Teressa, a native of Portland Oregon, has a B.S. in Interior Design. She enjoys being hands on and involved with every facet of the selections on her projects. Teressa states “I love working with Billy and Danny because of their honesty, professionalism, support and hands-off management approach” She enjoys working in the Heights and says “it reminds her of homes in Portland” Teressa loves that at LCI the main priority is the clients and the fact that “we are 100% referral based speaks volumes about the LCI name” added Teressa.


Jennifer Herrera – Selections Coordinator

Jennifer enjoys multi-tasking along with switching gears in between tasks, She says “it keeps her on her toes”. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree In Engineering Technology & Safety Management. Prior to LCI, Jennifer worked in the residential and commercial landscaping industry. She loves working with her clients and creating their dream homes.

Mariana Tapia – Office Manager

Mariana maintains a level of professionalism that is up to speed with the perfect craftsmanship the Lucas brothers are known for. She loves the “family first” culture of Lucas Craftsmanship, and the style of management which allows her to maintain her identity within the organization. That freedom to move around inspires and motivates Mariana to go the extra mile.
